Julie here!! I have just got back from a glorious week at the newly renovated Club Med Ixtapa Pacific on the West Coast of Mexico. Beach is long and great for sunrise and sunset walks. Their French inspired cuisine is the very best… you must try their famous dark and white Chocolate Bread!! I'm warning you that you'll keep going back for more
There is one large buffet restaurant with a beautiful patio overlooking the ocean plus 2 a la carte restaurants where the food is fresh and very well prepared. There is even a daily Sushi station and of course hand-made tortillas… not to mention the very best guacamole I've ever tasted.
The Pool is large and heated. If you want to have an active family vacation, this is the place visit. It sure reaffirms that Club Med is just the best for families and or active adults. Their sports and kids programs plus the baby club is far more superior than any other all-inclusive resort. The Circus/Trapeze is a huge draw. You'll have access to many water sports such as kayaks and catamaran plus some great land based activities. I had load of fun taking part in the daily Zumba classes which is the latest craze!
I would highly recommend Club Med Ixtapa and hope to head back down in the near future. My single complaint was the weather…Can you believe I felt it to be too hot. Remember to pack a big hat and sunblock!!
